Gustavo started his career in Elma Chips as a trainee in 1992 where he stayed during 7 years in many different positions in marketing from promotions, product launches, untill brand manager of Ruffles. He left Pepsico in 1999 and had 2 years of experience at SC Johnson Wax where he launched the Ziploc brand in Brazil. In 2001 he joined the Yahoo! company as head of marketing and helped develop the business in Brazil participating of the local largest search engine aqcuisition, Cade?. In 2003 he came back to the PepsiCo family, now in the beverage business as marketing Director for CSDs in Brazil, helping to consolidate Pepsi Twist, launching the Carolina Project, the regional strategy for Pepsi Brand and H2OH!
Gustavo holds a BA from the Fundaçao Getulio Vargas in São Paulo. He is fluent in German, Spanish, English and Portuguese. Born in São Paulo, married with Andrea and father of Nina, who is 1.5yrs old. He is very creative and loves adventures such as surf trips to the most exoctic spots, like Indonesia or Costa Rica.
