My interests in technology started since very young with my first computer, an Apple II. In 1999 when I purchased a Palm IIIx and because of the potential I sow in that device, I've started a company to develop mobile solutions and also a website about the Palm platform with tutorials, downloads, tips, articles and a huge amount of information for end users. A partnership with Zip.Net (later acquired by UOL.com.br) brought revenue from advertisement and the website popularity growth helped selling more PDA solution for the corporate market.
Since I was the responsible for writing all the website content I also started writing for several American and Brazilian specialized magazines like PocketPCMag.com, ComputingUnplugged.com, Webinsider.com.br and others. The next natural step was covering other platforms such as Windows Mobile and Symbian. And after that my company also started covering and developing corporate solutions for mobile phones in general.
With the increase of the demand for mobile corporate solutions, I became Director of Business Development in Brazil for LatinGo, an AvantGo partner for Latin America. This move helped my company develop better solutions and also reach the market of bigger companies.
Imagining the mobile phone market would grow fester then the PDA market I started working in the sales department of Claro, a Brazilian GSM carrier. Because of my skills and knowledge I was promoted and became Consultant for Products & Services, the same position I latter accepted in Brasil Telecom GSM, a GSM start up. In both companies I worked with product development, sales consulting and sales force training. I also worked for GVT a Brazilian landline company, and nowadays I work at TIM with contracts and auctions for the brazilian federal government.

Foreseeing a market opportunities, I worked on a business plan for a company oriented to the PDA (pamtops) growing market. The business model was based on an Internet Portal (The Mobile Site) with several services for PDA users such as news, reviews, articles, interviews, software downloads and services like a cable TV schedule being automatically updated to the user PDA. Later on, the Portal became part of Zip.Net (latter acquired by UOL) and generated revenue from advertisement. Another part of the business plan was the development of corporate applications for PDAs which was accomplished by a partnership with LatinGo, a Mexican mobile solution developer that became represented in Brazil by my company. I latter became associate director of LatinGo in Brazil. The last part of the business plan was a on-line store to sell palmtops and accessories to the public which was accomplished by partnerships and representation of several product manufactures. Since the content in the Portal was written and managed by me I also managed to started writing for several Brazilian and United States specialized publications.

Preparation and participation on my firsts Government auctions. Brazilian aviation legislation learned while I worked at VARIG were extremely important in my activities on the travel agency. My IT knowledge and experience were also very important for the development of an internal control system that was also capable of generating management reports. Needless to say that my fluent English was also very important at this job.
