As a team leader for my department, the main activities I perform are related to employees matters, technical issues at customers, project management, documentation and conflict solving. At a limited basis, I also take care of people management subjects. I use the experience I have got working for fourteen years as a Lotus Domino specialist to be the technical reference for the team, helping our support analysts to troubleshoot issues on their projects and planning migrations, transitions and changes to the several environments supported. I am also responsible for the Knowledge Management process, which we host on a Lotus Quickr environment, with several customizations to meet ISO9000, eSCM and other standards requirments.
Before that, I had been working for twelve years at Premier level IBM consulting companies. I am specialized on Lotus Notes/Domino platform administration and systems development. I am also experienced at general electronic mail systems, Windows servers administration, Internet/Intranet services (SMTP, POP3, IMAP, LDAP, HTTP, DNS, etc), TCP/IP networks and interfaces for coexistence and migration of Lotus Notes with other platforms, like Microsoft Exchange and Novel GroupWise, and with relational database systems, like Oracle and Microsoft SQL. I had some opportunities to work on monitoring and managing tools, like BMC Patrol, Compuware Ecotools and IBM Tivoli, helping defining events and alerts thresholds parameters.
I think the main specialities I have is to be a self-taught person and to be fluent (inside my escope, Lotus Notes/Domino) on both areas of Information Technology: Infrastructure and Development.
