The main goal of this project was to characterize machine internal delays from measurements, such that delay-based congestion control algorithms could work better. The project happened inside the "Google Summer of Code - in 2005". I was the one of two, out of the 9000 applicants that got accepted simultaneously in two project at SoC - Internet2 and FreeBSD.
